Your child already
has a gift. We find it.

LEE's Kingdom Kids Montessori School in Tarkwa was founded because children here deserve the same quality education available in Ghana's biggest cities. We follow the Montessori method and pair it with our DADT framework to discover what makes each child special.

DADT
Why we're different

DADT isn't a slogan.
It's how we teach.

DADT stands for Discovering And Developing Talents. It's the backbone of how we run classrooms at LEE's Kingdom Kids — our mission is to find and grow what makes every child unique.

Montessori Method

Hands-on work with Montessori materials — not worksheets.

D
Discovering

Every child walks into our classrooms with something they're naturally drawn to. Maybe it's patterns. Maybe it's storytelling. Our job starts with paying close attention.

A
And

We connect academic learning with real life — Ghanaian culture, community values, and the world outside school walls. Education here isn't isolated from who our children are.

D
Developing

Once we spot a child's spark, we build around it. Montessori materials, one-on-one time, creative projects — whatever it takes to help that talent grow into real ability.

T
Talents

Children leave KKMS knowing exactly what they're good at — and confident enough to use it. We've seen shy kids become public speakers and hesitant kids lead science projects.

“Every child has a talent. Our job is simply to find it.”

— LEE's Kingdom Kids, since 2011

Programs

Ages 1 to 15.
One school, four stages.

Each program builds on the last. Children don't have to adjust to a new school every few years — they grow up here.

All programs
Stage 01
Toddler
1 – 3 yrs

Lots of sensory play, singing, and practical life stuff — pouring water, buttoning shirts. They learn by doing, and they love it.

Sensory bins & outdoor play
Basic independence skills
Language through songs & stories
Stage 02
Preschool
3 – 5 yrs

This is where the Montessori materials really come alive. Children choose their work, build concentration, and start reading and counting on their own terms.

Montessori maths & language
Cultural studies
Art & music exploration
Stage 03
Kindergarten
5 – 6 yrs

The bridge year. Reading becomes fluent, maths gets more abstract, and children start working on group projects that teach collaboration.

Reading fluency
Problem-solving projects
Early science experiments
Stage 04
Primary & JHS
6 – 15 yrs

Independent research, deeper thinking, and real responsibility. By the time they leave KKMS, they know how to learn — not just what to memorise.

Research-based learning
Leadership opportunities
GES-aligned curriculum

All programs aligned with the Ghana Education Service (GES) curriculum.

KKMS TV

Kids making their own
TV show. Seriously.

KKMS TV started because we noticed our students had things to say — and they wanted an audience bigger than their classroom. So we gave them a camera, a platform, and let them run with it.

Now they produce educational content, interview community members, perform skits about Ghanaian history, and run science segments. It's messy, it's fun, and it builds confidence you can't teach from a textbook.

My daughter used to cry every morning before school. At Kingdom Kids, she wakes up asking if it's a school day. The teachers know her by name, they know what she likes, and they actually call me to share what she did that day. That's not normal — and I love it.

We moved to Tarkwa and didn't know any schools. A neighbour recommended KKMS. Two years in, our son reads on his own, leads the Friday assembly sometimes, and told us he wants to be a scientist. He's eight. I credit the teachers for that spark.

What sold me was visiting the classroom and seeing kids actually working — not sitting in rows copying from a board. My child learns at her pace, and the teachers send photos and updates without me asking. It feels personal.
